Whatever happened to the black & red/green/blue/pink/yellow liveries? Those were nice. Any still around? I recall being parked right next to one at AMS 2 years back. It looked sharp.

The yellow stripe in No.2 is meant to be sharp and clear. A white glow would destroy this. And if you look at the top half of the tail closely, you’ll see its a dark navy blue, not black :p
This was not designed in anyway to be a viable paint design. As it is it would be prohibitively expensive. Adding a white glow efect would only add another 10-15% in expense.

ye the 2nd design is better more effect of the yellow stripe

nice schemes…prefer the second one…though as Matt said, maybe a bit of white on the tail?

they do look good, but not for an ACMI operator – white all along for them

You’re just as good with all this graphical stuff, why not give it a go? 🙂

Yes both very good, but the second one has to be the best! If only the airlines would listen……..

Yup, prefer No two. The broader yellow stripe does make a difference.

Excellent. Not much difference between them, although the second is better.
The scheme would look hundreds of times better on the 747-400! 🙂
