Pic of the day (28.1)

This aircraft is seen at Montreal after VG Airlines went bankrupt. At first, the aircraft weren’t in Belgium when they went bankrupt. It was coming, and the aircraft went to Larnaca in Cyprus to avoid that ILFC would take them immediately.
Pic taken in January 2003. I never liked them anyway, damn loosers calling themselve a flag carrier! They only operated for five months, because they could only just achieve a load factor of just 30-40% against very high prices.

Anytime you see airlines pop up like this out of nowhere and start flying long-haul routes, very rarely do they stick around.

The Delsey wasn’t a re-brand as such, just an advertisement scheme, as mentioned

Ohyeah, after three months the airline was rebranded Delsey Airlines because (I think) it was some sort of advertisement, and they gave them a lot of money for it (Delsey is a brand of suitcases).
Here you go, this one is seen at YYZ in 2003, ex vG and probably leased.

Rumours say AC wanted to lease them. After Sabena went bankrupt, ILFC bought them I assume… I’ll check.

Where are these planes now, and in what liveries. Is there any A330 left in VG livery?
