Clip of SXM on ITV tonight!!!

Just to let you know, I’ve noticed on the adverts on ITV there is a programme called TV’s Naughtiest Blunders and theres a clip of a news reporter at SXM and then has to duck due to a plane landing so low over him. The program is on ITV tonight at 10:30 if anyone wants to watch it.

This is unbelievable. One absolute moron is going to ruin it for thousands of aviation enthusiasts wanting to stand on that beach as the plane goes overhead. 😡

Yes I read this in the other AW magazine, and couldn’t stop laughing! Lol it’s still hilarious now, just imagining it!:D :p

Can’t remember where I recently read it, but someone has been charged at St Maarten for throwing something at a landing airliner. The pilot returned with police to the beach and identified the culprit.

There’s now talk of fencing off the area of beach under the approach.

Lets just say, my camera bag with one of my lenses and all my film inside went flying, and me nearly with it! When the Corsair 747 was making its turn, I didn’t repeat this performance. I will the next time I go, sans camera bag.

LMAO!

Looked like a setup to me.

Still cool, shows you just how damn close those planes get to anyone on Maho beach

My ambition is to get there some time.

You can spit and hit them! LOL (figure of speech for those of you here not from the UK)

LOL it was OTT – he’s standing at the end of a runway at an international airport – oh my god where did that plane just come from? 😀

Yeah I thought it was an AA 757 too.
