Went to Brooklands Air Museum today… which is on the site of the old Brooklands race track, and where Vickers aircraft used to be made.
Heres some pics: (Sorry to Dial-up users!)

Allen, indeed it is! I have pics from onboard, as well as pics of the 1-11 from the outside, and the vickers Vanguard from the outside. 🙂
Thanks for the comments all. 🙂

Excellent shots, I’m curious as to what has been going in the Sultan’s bed though!
I think that’s where the cat makes it’s little den.:D
Great shots Andrew, tell me though… Is it possible to board the Viscount as well ?

Look at those comfy seats! 😮
Hope you enjoyed these pics… there are more if anyone wants to see… including the BAC 1-11. 🙂
Cheers.

Another brilliant photo. I agree, you’ve done a great job. The sun catches very nicely on the side of the aircraft. 😀

Did you manage to get onto the Sultan of Oman’s aircraft?

Last time i was there there was no VC10 nose section but i also have been on G-APIM 🙂

This VC-10 section was used by vickers when VC-10 development started. It was used for Pressure Tests. It has now been painted in to the BOAC livery.
