Providing of course that there are A380’s still about in 30 years.

I have a trivial question. If they Airbus isn’ t going to fly the beast to Le Bourget how is it going to get there? Surely not in one piece.

Looks amazing, I really cannot wait to see it fly! Shouldn’t be too long, it’s probably been asked many times before, but does anyone know when it’s first scheduled to fly?

Cargo Airlines aside, realistically, which passenger airlines would be justified in sending an A380 to Lisbon? Like, none probably. Not even the national carrier can justify a route of this magnitude, in my opinion.

I agree, the biggest plane in TAP fleet are 4 A-340-300, before this we had 4 Boeing 747-200, we don’t need anything bigger… but we already had the Concorde some times in Portugal, so maybe the A-380 will make us a visit or two, and I will be there…

I’ve talked with a friend and he told me that in Lisbon a A-380 can land but we dont have the proper equipment, terminal and “parking lot” to acomodate the beast A-380, in Porto constructions are being made to expand the “parking lot” and the airpot will have the capacities to receiv a A-380, but its hard to see a Boeing 747 in Portugal, so a A-380 is even harder… When I was in Lisbon in university in a week I probabily see 2 or 3 747 landing in the airport…

Yes, it would be nice, but I’m not sure that ir can land in portuguese airports, maybe only in an Air Force base, the only one in Portugal where the space Shuttle can land, maybe there, but I hope to see it in ILA Berlin and Le Bourget in 2006 and 2007, I’m sad becaus I can´t go to Le Bourget in 2005 to see it…
