I figured it was a charter. I was just wondering if it was an ad hoc charter or a scheduled one, like Condor’s FRA-LAS weekly service. I also thought perhaps LH started sending another 767 down to Sydney like they did back in the 90’s. As far as refueling stops go, from Europe I’m sure the 767 requires the same amount of stops a 744 would, one in BKK or SIN. I don’t think a 767 would have to make an extra stop.

Wouldnt a 767 have to do a few refueling stops. Surly the filthy rich would rather pay more for a 747-400 that didnt have to stop or are these the worst kind of the filthy rich society – The Tight Filthy Rich who wont even put a penny in a beggars cup? Tut Tut 😀

Possibly chartered by a world tour agency ? They take loads of flithy rich people round the world for shed loads of money. There was a thread last year about it, I think they were using an Air 2000 757 for it.

Definately a charter old boy 🙂

Perhaps Wys could help here. But this is the german arm of TCX, so perhaps not.
