hi all ive been away for a while but i need your help ,i have to raise at least twenty thousand pounds to assist british airways to move the aircraft to manchester aeropark.there is a pledge thread on concorde sst.com forum in the last 24 hours we have raised over one thousand pounds youre help is needed to save this immaculate airframe any donations will be appreaciated any one donating will have their name or company apped inside the aircraft so please take a minute and visite concorde sst.com forum

Surly get the Daily Mail involved as they adore such appeals via their papers. You just tell them how many aviation enthusiasts in britan (Several hundrea thousands) and they will prob use it as it wud sell papers. Id buy a copy if they were helping!

Just to keep people informed, we now have £2,960 in pledges.
The appeal is also due to appear in the Manchester Evening News tonight – not sure how much coverage but let’s hope reported got all the details correct!:)

I’m really sorry guys, but as I’m only 15 and have about £30 in the bank, I cannot contribute. However, I really would LOVE to contribute to save a plane like this. It is unbelievable, the thought of such an aircraft being scrapped.
