Holiday report

Hi people.

Well overall, the actual holiday was crap for me. 🙁

And i got the dates wrong too. :confused:

Left my house last Wednesday at 4:15am and got to LGW at 5:00, checked in at 5:10. Everything went very smoothly.

Flight took off at 7:50am, 20 mins later than scheduled.

Whilst waiting in the departure lounge, i had the chance to take down a few numbers, albeit fairly foggy.

Taxiied out to take off around 7:40am, passing by an EZY 319(HB-JZE) first time ive seen one of these, nothing special.

Take off was fairly bumpy, caused by fog. Flight over all, once above the weather was great…very calm and smooth. A very very tastey full english brekkie was served aboard, scrambled egg, sausage, tomato, bacon and hash browns. Found “duty free gifts” on board to be very expensive, so i didnt bother to get anything. Also didnt take a safety card. :p

Touched down on Spanish soil at 10:20am Spanish time. Picked up hire car and got to the apartment about 30-40 mins later. Was a very nice apartment too, very spacious.

Now….here comes the bad bit, well was for me. 🙁

First day into the holiday i got ill! 😡 😡 So the was me laid up in the apartment alone, bored out of my head, until Saturday went i started to feel better.

On friday I made the effort to get out. Parents had gone out for the day, so I walked down to the marina but felt a little worse for ware, so I came back, on the way stopped in a small internet place just to check my emails and notify the LGW meet guys of info for friday.

Didnt actually go out until yesterday properly. Went down to Gibraltar. Ive been down there before, lovely place, with annoying mokeys! lol :p

No aircraft in the airport. But hey, cant have it all.

Today got to airport a few hours before flight, took the car back, then went to check in.

Unsure of reg of this aircraft :confused: Think it was TTOC?

Flight left at 13:30ish Spanish time. Flight again was very good, very polite staff on board. Flew back over the bay of biscay, beautiful views of the west coast of France.
Food on this flight was some sort of Chicken dish, i didnt eat it.

This aircraft seemed alot cleaner inside than the out bound aircraft.

Touched down at LGW at 14:00 UK time, was 20 minutes early! Went through to pick up out bags… last ones out! 😡

Went up to LHR this afternoon, to the Sheraton Skyline Hotel. There is a model shop in there, so i went to have a “look” — which turned into buying something of course. lol

Sadly I have no pictures from my holiday, my camera is being repaired, and I dont get it back until this thursday, and the digital camera I had i wasnt allowed to take, as it belongs to my sisters boyfriend. But I now have that back in time for this Friday! 😀

Thats it… sorry im not really good with writing reports. 😛
