Barbados Concorde

Have spoken to a friend who has just returned from Barbados. Concorde has proved qute a draw for the locals. Its currently parked on the main apron by the tower dwarfing the Islanders.
They are waiting for the BA engineers to come over to decomission her and remove the engines(god knows why as they have no othet use) although one will be kept and put on display.
They have just started on a new hangar for it to the left of the terminal on what is currently just waste ground. This is expected to be finished by the summer when they hope to get some more exhibits. Looks like it might have a more secure future than some others? Hopefully I will return for my annual visit in may.
