Future UK Runways

Does anyone know when the announcement is going to be made by Alastair Darling about the new runways? I am a bit behind the news out here.
It will be interesting to see which out of Glasgow and Edinburgh gets the runway. In the old days it would have been Glasgow without question and still being the busier airport it should have the runway but I think it will be Edinburgh myself.
