To cater to the traditionally higher demand for seats over the Christmas, New Year and Chinese New Year period, Singapore Airlines (SIA) will mount extra capacity on several routes from end-November to February 2004.
Most of the supplementary flights will be on services to Australia and New Zealand, with 94 additional flights mounted from end-November to February. Larger aircraft will also be used on 29 scheduled services during this period.
To its Indian destinations, SIA will mount 14 supplementary flights between December and February, with larger aircraft used on 59 scheduled services. There will also be nine extra services to Male in the same period, while a larger aircraft will be used on 18 scheduled services to Colombo.
Elsewhere, nine extra flights will be mounted to Europe and seven to Japan. Besides this, larger aircraft will be utilised on 20 scheduled services to China.
