Aircraft: A320 (VT-ESP)
From DEL to GOI.

I was heading to paradise down south a place called Goa, some of you might be familiar with it. A 12pm flight it stops in Mumbai for 40 minutes then continuing to Goa whoch takes another 25 minutes. I was quite surprised seeing Indian Airlines making some improvements. They actualy called to know if i had any seat or foos preference. Although i was in business class but they never did that before. But still once you board the aircraft you have to see some and tolirate some scary looking airhostess’s. Although inflight service and food has improved…. still the airhostess’s remian crude and would still rather gossip among themselves than cater perfectly to a travelers need. After a 1 hr 40 min. the flight landed in Mumbai…where the aircraft was mobbed by IC officials, cleaners, workers and policemen checking and cleaning…leaving the business class passengers pretty confused. This i later came to know is part of IC’s new drive to improve service. Now even a policeman comes and asks every passenger to identify there hand luggage…just like they do in trains. But have to admite the general service and food was great by IC. After we landed at Goa i saw a couple of 9W and S2 aircrafts but also saw a Air2000 B767 and boy was that aircraft packed to the limits. Also there were lots of private jetsfrom big guns like Abdullah Jummah (Saudi Aramco), Rex Tillerson (Exxon Mobil) also there was India’s biggest private jet owned by an Indian…. a B727 in VIP config. Since GOI is actualy a INS base…. i could see some rare military machines which we dont see much like the TU 96, KA 27 and the Sea Harrier.

2: Airline: Air Deccan
Aircraft: ATR 42
FROM – Goa to Bangalore.

Well Air Deccan is India’s first loco…… whos engine caught fire on its inaugural flight. Typical loco synario…boarding pass on a piece of paper, 1 airhostesspay for you food etc. Not bad though..although one hell of a bumpy flight.

Aircraft – A320
From: Bangalore to Delhi

The flight was half an hour late. The A320 finaly landed with the cheap and crude writing “50 years of flying” written on its rear fuselauge in red. A kid could design better than that. The flight was 7 in the morning which made it more annoying. I dont know but A320s make a very weird sound when on take off….. CFM’s i guess? But the landing into Delhi was hard….VERY HARD…felt like the pilot just threw the aircraft on the airstrip. On landing we had to wait for around 8-10 minutes for buses to arrive to take us to the terminal :rolleyes: . Although i should say IC has improved but they have a long way to go to compare standards with 9W and S2 in the Indian skies.
