I need some camera help!!!

Now, before you say i have searched the forum for this topic and have found some usefull info about cameras. I narrowed my range to Canon, but not digital, and a few lenses, probably 20-80mm and 75-300mm, but i may get different ones if need be. I need some advice with Canons, i.e. quality, durablility, and overall performance. Im looking for a moderate to higher end model that is not going to be an enigma when i begin to use.

Also this may sound ridiculos, but i need some tips on taking good photographs. Things like how to take a picture of an aircraft on approach or taking off with out getting blurred(i.e. panning) or any other common tips for aviation photgraphy.
