BA Citiexpress have today announced that the last of the BAe ATPs will be retired by April next year. This means that all Isle of Man routes to Dublin, Glasgow, Liverpool, and Birmingham will be axed, and the Manchester route will operate from Manchester (As opposed to running from EGNS) with Dash 8 equipment until that subsequent type retirement later in the year.
The Luton and Gatwick route will also remain, however G-MIMA is supposedly being returned to the lessor later this month, and so the future of that route is also in doubt.
What this means in terms of their Scottish routes however is unknown.
