grrrrrrr!!! Where's my MD-11?? :(

I made an exception to my usual United / bmi rule for when I go to Cincinnati this Xmas and am flying out from Heathrow via Paris with BA/Air France and direct back to Gatwick with Delta – I got a silly cheap price for doing this.

The bad news is that I was looking forward to my first flight on an MD-11 on the CVG-LGWleg, and it’s been switched to a 767-300 (in Delta configuration :()

Am I just unlucky, or are Delta generally downsizing their MD-11 fleet and not using tham on this kind of route any more?

Also, I can’t work out what to expect on Air France CDG – Cincinnati. I would guess probably a 340-300 or a 767-300. Anyone know?
