Aircraft 180° turns @cruise level

Today at 12 o’clock I noticed four aircraft making 180° turns at their cruise levels. The aircraft were avoiding a point as you can see on the picture.
The picture was taken from Antwerp (55 km north of Brussels) and the picture was taken to the East.
who has more information about the cause of this?
