I am in the process of applying to become an Air Traffic Controller with NATS.

The following question is an example Interview Question.

‘An Aircraft under your control has an engine failure and is descending at 1500ft per minute. It is 60 miles from the nearest airport. Its altitude at the start of the emergency is 27,000ft and its speed is a constant 180 mph. Will it reach the airfield?

Any ideas anyone?
