The first KLM 777 will be delivered shortly. It will arrive at its new home base of Amsterdam at the 25th of October at 08:30 local time. The official flight number will be KL7461, but Amsterdam ATC will be using KL777!
The reg will be PH-BQA.
Just to add, I won’t be there to see it. I should be on my way back from London! I should be around for at least 1 of the new deliveries in the future. If only the A330 which I really love. Never really cared for the B777. Don’t kill me now…

one word of advice, if you intend to visit some of the places outside the terraces DON’T!
This weekend there will be a strike by the public transport (bus + train + tube + …). There will be only a very downgraded service so f you get stuck somewhere you may be stuck for the remainder of the holiday.
The strike will be on saturday only.

Shame as I am off to AMS this weekend to sit on the terrace for two days. Got to get up at 4am for the 0625 BMI A321 from LHR, back 2130 on Sunday on a Daily Mail ‘free'(£33 in taxes!) flights thing. Will send in a report, just hope it does not get cold!

A330 and A345/6 are the best, they are to me a much better aircraft than the B777, although the KL livery on the B777 is quite nice and suits it well!!!
