I have just taken last minute “advantage” of the latest Ryanair sale, booking flights from STN – PIK – DUB – STN all for 22nd November. At first I thought it was going to cost me only £39, however once the order had been confirmed they told us they had added £12 for “credit card fee”.
I suppose thats what happens when you get used to flying BA all the time. 5 minutes after booking the tickets and it’s already BA 1 FR 0

Bad luck Ren. always book it through the airlines websites in my experience, nearly always works in your favour. At least you’ll be on one of the last ATP flights!

I’m afraid not, BA pulled out of Aldergrove months ago, and even then it was a Maersk Air UK service to Birmingham. Your going to City mate!
I thought that, although according to the website they still do, which is why I was slightly confused by it all. My impression was that only Easyjet flew GLA-BFS and it seems to be the case having done some checking. It also seems to be the case I can book and Easy flight today for a third of what I paid for my so called BA flight. Doh, Doh and double Doh !!!!!!
More phoning to be done now. 😡

Ren, who goes from Glasgow to Aldergrove AND City?
BA according to the lastminute.com people, I’m looking into it even as I write.

£51 is great value for 3 sectors, just having £12 added on at the end left a bit of a sour taste in my mouth. It’l be interesting to quash those prejudices I have of FR, or to see if they were truly justified after all.

£51 still isn’t bad for three sectors – don’t you agree? I don’t think BA could match those prices even with them not charging a credit card fee, which I thoroughly believe will change – it’s just a matter of time.
