EAL_KING.
A quick search on Google for ZS-OZV reveals that the aircraft belongs to African International Airways and links to a lot of photos.

It isnt a rare sight, there are always commercial freight aircraft flying into RAF Lyneham.
i think the last time a 707 flew into there was back in the first gulf war.

Well that’s okay too. I like DC-8’s and it’s nice to see them because they are so rare.
I’d love to see a 707 though.
I don’t think I’ve ever seen a 707 in civilian service.
Isn’t that sad?
I was just born too late it seems.
I remember two years ago I was visiting Versailles and a I looked up as a four engined airliner flew over.
It had to be either a DC-8, 707, or A340.
I figure it was probably an A340, but I’ve always kept hope it was a 707.

It was actually a DC8 regn ZSOZV, flew in from RAF Akrotiri and departed back there.

I love B707’s. If anyone finds any info about this I’d love to hear it.

I would be inclined to think it belonged to a military unit rather than an airline as it was going to Lyneham. Perhaps a VIP visitor? Maybe something to do with the forthcoming visit of George Bush?
