Not sure if any of you have come across this at all, but it may be worth a look if you’re interested into these airline simulation games.
This is AIRPRO 2000 and it’s much like Airline 5, although not quite as advanced as you might like it to be. However, the one good thing about this is that it’s completely free to download and doesn’t stop working after a certain amount of time.
If you’ve got a superfast connection, the 15mb download will complete in seconds. If like me, you’re using 56k dialup, it’ll take an hour. In my opinion, it was worth it.
You can start the simulation between 1950 and 1980 in 5 yearly intervals e.g. 1950, 1955, 1960, 1965 etc. Once you reach present day, the more recent aircraft such as the 767, 777, 747, A330 and A340 become available. You can even choose Concorde and the A380 to fly routes which you choose. You don’t get to control the smaller parts of the game such as ticket prices and seats on aircraft etc, but hey, it’s free!
If you’ve got some time on your hands, check it out, it’ll amuse you for a while!
