This is the first visit of this aircraft to Prestwick. She airrived this morning (Thursday). The pic’s are not brilliant but I will post more when she taxies out. Parked on the North side so not the best place for us.

Great shots.
I like T5, have never seen the 225 either. I have seen a 124, but it was a 30 odd thousand feet at the time! 😀
Cheers Jimbo. 🙂

I’ve never seen the Antonov-225 in the flesh, so I don’t think I can really appreciate its size. I’ve seen the smaller An-124 and that was huge! To think this one is actually bigger, it’s hard to believe! 🙂

Unfortunately I BL***Y missed the departure, so sorry folks but theres no more pic’s.
To Shorty01 This aircraft maybe a fairly common sight in Germany but it is not in Scotland.
I can’t help but feel a touch of sarcasm in your post!

What a monster!, I watched its smaller brother the AN-124 depart EMA last night(24/9/03) with what appeared to be a very heavy load, (judging by the length of the take-off run!) I saw a low-loader arrive with what looked like a very large piece of machinery the night before, anybody know what the load was?
Regards, Dazza.

Although they’re not great quality, it’s an amazing sight. That car looks quite pathetic when compared to the Antonov!

Why is that car standing near it and disgracing itself?
