Brief Flight Reports

Had to make a couple of short notice trips over the last week.
First was LGW-PMI with Britannia. Flight BY097A due to depart at 1345 (Sat 20th). Boarding began at 1307 and was complete at 1340. Pushback almost exactly on time. At check-in I asked for an aisle seat and was offered one in the emergency exit row. Great! No! Seat number E15 is just inside the door and although you have legroom and a screen on the bulkhead immediately in front of you, you get no view of anything else at all. But it was a good flight, and excellent service from the cabin staff. We landed smoothly a few minutes ahead of time – no complaints.
The Aircraft was B763 G-OBYG :-

After a short surface trip, my return to UK was NCE-LGW with EasyJet. Flight Number 5066 due to depart 1635 (Tue 23rd). A sign of EasyJet’s presence in Europe was the three Easyjet aircraft unloading/loading (and refuelling) at that time. Boarding was prompt and well organised, and we got away on time, arriving LGW 15mins before schedule. Smooth, easy, flight in a newish aircraft.
But, in such a recent addition to the Boeing line, why should you have condensation dripping on your head from the aircon?
And, why, at what must have been a fairly quiet time for Gatwick, should it take fifty minutes for the bags to arrive?
😡
The Aircraft was B737(ie 737-700) G-OSLH :-
