What about BMI – only 2 widebody aircraft (SAA has the other) used on Washington / Chicago.
Qatar Airways / Kuwait Airways / Air Zimbabwe / Ethiopian Airways / Air Madagascar / Cameroon Airline – may be ‘national’ carriers but still operate wide bodies on a few routes.

Hi,
ah right..and does Qantas help them in maintanence of aircrafts also?
No, Air Pacific do the maintenance.
From the Air Pacific website:
Air Pacific Engineering and Maintenance has been operating since the 1950s. Employing some 110 staff, it provides quality aircraft engineering for Air Pacific, Qantas, Air Vanuatu, Air Kiribati and Royal Tongan Airlines.
Being FJAR145 approved and ISO9002 accredited, Air Pacific Engineering and Maintenance totally maintains the B737-700/800 in house. In conjunction with Qantas, Singapore Airlines, Air New Zealand and Boeing, a check maintenance of the B747 and B767 is assumed in house.

Tahiti Nui is extended itself as a tourism destination……having direct flight from LHR, LAX etc, is a good idea to attract tourists. Plus Tahiti as i have ehard is a great place.
