I was just wondering if Aerolineas Argentinas and Iberia are owned by one another or linked in anyway, because if you have a look at their liveries you can see that they are practically the same apart from logos and colours!

Correct and managed by other Spanish airline called Air Plus Comet with they share planes. Right now a new livery was created for Air Plus in order to use AR planes: Air Plus colours but the condor bird on the tail (like AR). Air Plus uses AR B747 for long haul charter flights and high density to Spain and is about to incorporate B737-700 (with winglets) for the domestic and european market. Rumours say that theywant to launch the first low cost in Spain. AR uses A310 from Air Plus in their charter destinations. They also share crews.

IB used to own AR, and this explain the similarities od the liveries as you noticed. However, nowadays AR is majoriyy owned by a spanish travel company called Marsans.
