Saw your comments on Wannabes Lanzarote trip ,were you on either of these?Could you get your little book out and check plse?
Weds 9/10/02 JMC169K LGW to Larnaca and Weds 16/10/02 from Larnaca to LGWon the JMC 169L.
We had a right result on that flight it was meant to be a night flight with a horrid time of arrival about 0520 into LGW on the Thurs morning but 2 weeks before we went we got a letter saying sorry times changed to 0800 out and 1745 return time GREAT.
On the flight down we boarded the 757 and then got a PA from the Captain saying the prevLarnaca had gone tech (nothing serious, just a small prob with the aisle lights on the cabin floor that would be fixed within the hour)and that we were going to have a crew change cos if they didnt the prev crew would have gone out of hours asthey hadchecked in earlier.!It was a great flight down the extra leg room seats were SUPERB the only bad bit was a bit of clear air turbulence over Germany but it didnt last long Thank God!
On the way back we took off early but as usual the weather was cloudy as we arrived back into LGW and ATC SENT US ROUND THE HOLD IN THE THICK CLOUD WHICH WAS NOT TOO NICE!We landed 20 mins early as well!
