I can remember driving through Elgin , there was a scrappies actually in the town and it was piled high with cut up Buccaneers and bits of Shack – I went back ages later but the site had been sold for development and it had all gone 🙁

I remember pics in the local paper of some former Leuchars F4’s sitting on top of a pile of scrap cars at a breakers yard by the banks of the Clyde in Glasgow. A very surreal site !:(

Not a pretty sight, I’ve got a video with footage of this sort of thing happening to retired RAF F-4s at Wattisham, it still brings a shiver to my spine when I watch it!

hmm…i guess it’s sad cause i used to see them a lot when i lived in Venezuela…..i even flew on one (maybe even the same one?) on a CCS-SJO….
Viasa was a relatively good airline until IBERIA bought it……and did some dirty things with it, as they did to Aerolineas Argentinas
