At last…..

I finally got them onto a CD. So here you go, the 1st batch. I know they should be in the AFM forum, but I thought I would share them with you guys.

Enjoy.

It’s not a flag as such, just part of the markings. All RAF aircraft carry red and blue bars on the tail – it’s just that the Tristar has a slightly larger one with a white bar in the middle, making it very reminiscant of another countries flag…. 🙂

Pic below shows the marking on the tail of a Tornado Gr.4, taken by me at RAF Waddington airshow.

Pardon me if I’m stupid , but what does represent the flag on the tail of the tristar?

Kev thanks for the comments. I will probably email you the stuff on my grandad on Monday, when I have a bit of time.

Cheers.

The last one of a Dove is great. Must be a later one as it has a retractable nosewheel, or am I thinking about the Heron? The side view of the Polish aircraft is great, a tribute to Coastal Command during the Battle of the Atlantic. Something your Grandad was probably involved in.

The M-28 is from the Polish Navy, it’s a licence built An-28 and is used for coastal patrol.

Nice pics as ever Andrew, hope you haven’t created an international incident amongst the Dutch military. 😀

I’ll hopefully be making my last film and first digital photo posts next week when the new 10d arrives. Yippee 😀

Actually, the last on isn’t from the Dutch Marines, but from the Dutch Navy. Slight difference, but enough to get your ass kicked to hell and back by a Dutch Marine!

Just to warn you. 😉
