New Antonov and Boeing models

Heard a whisper that Antonov are considering building an Antonov AN 124-300 wih a capacity of 150 tonnes
Also Boeing is considering a stretched Boeing 717-300X to carry 130 passengers and a 717-200 lite to carry about 84 passengers

Well that might lure other operators than Air Tran.

Well I think its a little bit too late for Boeing to start thinking about a stretched version for the B717 as one of the major B717 customers Air Tran has started to recieve different aircraft.

150 tons is the official max payload of the average An-124… the record set was about 184 tons from memory.

It would be nice to see more airlines flying the 717, hopefully this would boost the program! A new antonov would be neat although the last time YYC say a russian aircraft was when the G8 rolled through!
