Some more excellent shots tony. I like the Tyrolean one… I didn’t even know they operated into LHR… could it have been operating on behalf of Austrian? If not I look forward to seeing one when im next up at LHR. 😀
Thanks again Tony, nice work.

Just under £1300 in the UK for the body only. I already have some Canon EF lenses. As DSLR prices go, it’s a good one and representative of prices coming down within the digital world.

Nice pics! Especially the Royal Jet is interesting, I never heard of that one. Is it a new airline or something. Where do they come from and fly to?
The IL-96 is also really cool! Shame there aren’t more of them!
I am wondering where you leave your pics. All the sites I know of (amongst other PBASE.COM) don’t allow hotlinking. Therefore I always have to post a seperate post per picture, or only the small preview picture.

Thank you Mr Kabir, and the rest of you for your kind comments. I use an EOS 10D with 75-300mm lens for those shots.
I am not sure why the Asiana B747 carries unicef markings, it wasn’t the only aircraft, I am pretty sure the JAL 747’s were carrying them too, probably to say they support them.

fantastic pics! Tony may i ask what equipment do you use? And also why does the Asiana B747 have the Unicef sign on the fuselauge?

Brilliant Photos. Especially the Concorde ones and the Korean 744 and BMi A320. I love shots taken at angles like that. Well done!

Sod it, I’ve gone and booked a day trip to LHR for Thursday 18th September. If anyone else can make it, that would be great.
Details are
GLA-LHR 1050-1215 Bmi BD5
LHR-GLA 2140-2255 Bmi BD14
Should have the digi camera by then or a lot sooner. 😀

Great pictures, I’m gonna have to visit this Myrtle Avenue. In fact I was going to book a trip to AMS next, maybe I should get to Heathrow and get some Concorde shots of my own before it’s too late. Late September anyone ?
