Easyjet

I’ve asked this amongst a couple of other threads and not got a response, so, thought I’d start a new one. 🙂

I’m confused as to Easyjet’s fleet plans. A319s are on the way soon at a time when 73Gs are still being delivered. Why are they ordering both aircraft? Is Airbus the preferred option for the future? A lot of aircraft are now on order, does this mean a massive expansion plan? Are any of the 733s being replaced?

I just find it a little strange that A319s and 73Gs are being delivered very close to each other when the aircraft are very similar.

Can anyone enlighten me?
