Only joking folks, this is just a mock up from a French aviation website member. But wouldn’t it look great in reality?

i’d really like to see a new Air Canada livery, these 2 pics are about as close as we’ve come in a long time. The 65th would look nice as a permanent c/s keeping the MapleLeaf but making it blue or oarnge or something. A random generation of Leaf colors would be cool. Sort of like what they have done with one of there subsidies, Jazz.

They would still manage to get them filthy even in that livery

I reckon, i seen heaps of pictures of a.net and especially the B744 and A343 aircraft in the CX livery look really dirty!

Again, I’m with SAAB, like the scheme. I believe that Air France started the trend to all white. If they do change their scheme, you can bet it will be excellent. They may change their livery when they go into private hands. Private companies tend to be a bit more bold with these type of decisions.
I’m not crazy about that new design, though fresh, it looks more like a race car than an airline.

Well looks more with the times, has the current one ever been with the time ?????

I didn’t hear any rumor about a c/s change at AF.
The company is doing pretty well now and they are preparing their complete privatisation.
I doubt that a new c/s is a top priority.
This new C/S idea is great however

People
it is a very nice and interesting colour scheme for Air France. Surely it is much better than the current, all-white colour scheme that they currently have.
Considering the “trend” followed by many airlines lately to change their colour scheme (like Gulf Air, Cyprus Airways, Northwest, just to name a few), I believe it’s time for Air France also to follow the trend.
However, it would be far better (for marketing and promoting purposes as well) if they introduce their potential new colour scheme, when they will introduce to their fleet the A380. A new “breathless” aircraft… a new “breathless” colour scheme….

You guys mocking there colour scheeme, oh well, but Cathay Pacific’s livery sometimes looks dirty as well!

Looks great, shame it’s not for real!

Compared to a lot of the new liveries for airlines that have made an appearance in the last few years this one looks great. Some are timeless like the old BA livery but others look great such as this version.
By: skycruiser - 10th August 2003 at 18:07
that would be a huge improvment. The current paint job is so life less.
By: Selsport69 - 10th August 2003 at 14:53
That would certainly freshen up what is really a boring colour scheme. Only thing is, would they be able to keep it clean?:D
By: KabirT - 10th August 2003 at 14:49
Thats a very nice c/s……. in it atleast they wont disgrace themselves with dirty aircrafts.
By: dartie - 10th August 2003 at 13:02
Maybe someone should send that to Air France to encourage them to introduce the livery as its a 10/10 compared with the current livery!

Air France don’t need new colours in my humble opinion but that design is pretty good if they were to re-design.

You might not be able to tell the difference between this and an AF 777 in the new scheme ?

I suppose it’s just a case of adding those swirly stripes. Some how reminiscent of the new Boeing house colours as seen on the latest 777.

I like that alot – MUCH better than the trash scheme they’ve got now. I wonder how Concorde would have looked in a scheme like that though?
