Don’t know where to post civil helicopters, and off all 5 forums, this one sems to be the best “fitting”. Shot this one at Madrid recently. They don’t like it when you photograph this helicopters, so I used a very long lens. The chopper is at least 200 meters away. BW Roger

Gazelle is 341 and I think there’s a 342 Gazelle too. Looked it up last night… it’s definitely an Alouette II!

Hi all – helos aint my speciality but i thought the Gazelle was SA314? or is it 341 hmmm. I’ve never seen a gazelle with the rear frameowrk of that assembly.
I can defo say the top one is an MBB Bo105 possably the MBB Bo105/DBS4 Varient which is the usual chopper copper one!

It is an Alouette II isn’t it? Trying to remember what company designation the II got… The III is an AS316… so it makes sense for it to be an Alouette II!

Nice pic Roger. If you were in there sights, you can bet they would be using that speaker on the side… “OI! DONT TAKE A PICTURE! RIGHT LETS GET HIM”. :p
Thanks Rog.
