Rare 737 variant

Shot this one half an hour ago at valkenburg NAS in Holland. I understand it is a brandnew machine, a C40, and it is normally based in Washington. BW Roger

The C-40 are more numerous than 2… I should check for exact number. They are used for VIP transport.

I’m pretty sure that this BBJ a/c is one of two sold to the US military by the Ford Motor Co. and they were based at STN. These have been replaced by two ex Braathens machines. I guess that these now perform a VIP transport role.

Yes its a USAF owned 737… you can see the USAF logo on the fuselage, just behind the winglet.

Nice pic Roger. 🙂

I’ve never seen this.
Is it an USAF owned 737?I can’t recognize the US flag on the tail. Maybe the resolution ?
