I believe there is an access panel for the hydraulics in that position and as I’m sure you are well aware with things like brake fluid, hydraulic fluid is very corrosive.

Cheap dabbitys as my old grandad would have said ! Funny when you look at the two different planes the seepage effect is almost identical.

It has been a problem on most of the fleet. It’s to do with the reaction between hydraulic fluid seepage and the sticker on the fin. New transparancies with a better, less reactive adhesive have been ordered and are being replaced as the aircraft go in for hangar based maintenance.

Whenever I see a 757 on approach the position of the gear always reminds me of an eagle just about to grab its prey! The first shot shows it well.

Anyone know why the globe is peeling off the tail so quickly?

Maybe Wys would know ? I saw it on at least two of the planes.

Sorry EGNM its just what someone said on the group.
I didnt think we had a based 752 but when I saw someone say it I thought we must have.

Leeds does not have its own particular “based a/c” as far as registrations go. We have a based MYT B752 which is pooled from the Manchester based fleet – fo r example we very rarely see G-CCMY which is currently in the Gatwick pool of a/c i believe
