A My Travel question…

That a/c is proud to wear its beautiful MyTravel colours 😉

Here’s a 767 at Glasgow this afternoon, how your average punter would know the name of the airline is anyone’s guess… ?

remember a lot of the 320/321s are new a/c deliveries

Were MyTravel getting ready to paint the A/C before they went into money trouble?
Because if they stripped the colours ready for painting and then went into money trouble I suppose it wasn’t really their fault.
Or am I wrong?

Why didnt MYT buy a job lot of website stickers, and MyTravel logos. Remove the airtours titles and add the new MYT stickers, keeping the old AIH tails uptil the a/c were ready for painting – at least then they would have had some type of fleet similarity rather than the mix n match jobbie!

Dont get me wrong i was a huge AIH fan!

Unusual livery

You think they would have got the A330s painted over the 757s as the A330s are supposed to be the flagship.

Here’s an A320 at GLA last week.

Yeah it does look like an airline with cashflow issues when you see all these interim schemes going round. You’d have thought they’d have made a point of getting at least one of each type fully repainted. Such as the A330 for instance ?

If you want an idea of the variety of MyTravel colour schemes just look at the 757s.

Three different types just on the 757s!
