Gemini Jet models

Does anyone collect Gemini Jets models ?

I just started my collection today with this little beauty. Don’t quite agree with the silver stripe on the tail fin, but otherwise it’s fantastic.

Nah, don’t get them anymore. Styarted off with 1/18 road cars, then this changed to F1 models in 1/18 and 1/43, then I chaned to making aircraft models, and that’s faded sicne the start of the year and aircraft photography is the passtime now – I get withdrawl from not using my camera!

Presumably you’ve visited www.ixomodels.com as mentioned by Florida Dude for die cast car models ?

It’s all safely stowed on top of a kitchen cupboard for future use if I sell them. I keep the models displayed on a shelf (unless of course I’m pretending to fly them. 😀 )

Seems nice having two, if only the reg’s were different, which begs the question… Did Braniff have two different “Big Oranges” ?

I pre-ordered one ages ago, when the place didn’t get back to me to confirm I assumed they’d forgotten about it. I then bought one elsewhere and got home from Inverness on Saturday night to find the original order had arrived with the Laker DC-10. And yes they charged me for it.

I can either send it back or sell it or just keep it I suppose. 🙂

Ren have they sent you the braniff ones by accident or do you have to pay for them? If not I would gladly take one of your hands for some cash… contact via PM, will discuss! 😀

It looks like they just sell model cars and the Virgin planes were specially commissioned for sale on Virgin flights. Anyone travelling Virgin soon ?
