VLM Photo Competition

VLM are running a photo competition on their website (http://www.vlm-airlines.com).

They want anyone who has a photo of one of their Fokker 50 aircraft to e-mail it to them and if it is good enough they will publish it on their website, along with the name of the photographer. The best bit is that the best photo will win the photographer two return tickets to anywhere on the VLM network (not, as I said on my Sabena Group, two winning photos).

The address to send photos is

marketing@vlm-airlines.com

Great photo Andrew:)

I don’t have any VLM photos which are even worth scanning, never mind entering in a competition. Last year when I was in LCY’s departure lounge, there were loads of VLM aircraft parked nearby, and just as I pressed the shutter on my camera, it jammed. The photo did come out, but it’s really awful.

This is the only shot I have ever got of a VLM aircraft… OO-VLQ at LCY, taken with a disposable camera in 2000… on a school trip to London Docklands, and LCY was on the list of places to visit.

You’re welcome Comet, it was taken at Glasgow Airport in May and was the first time I’d seen a VLM plane.
