From the airlinerworld website.
NEW INDEPENDENT UK charter operator Flyjet will commence long-haul services this winter after signing an agreement to operate services to India for specialist tour operator Poo uk. From November 1 the airline will begin a weekly service from Birmingham to Amritsar in northern India, the world’s first ever inclusive tour charter operation to the Punjab. The Boeing 757-200 will be operated in a dual-class configuration with 40 seats in the ‘Anugraha’ cabin (Premium Economy) and 213 seats in Economy.

i’m 99% sure the MYT B752s have 233 pax and the BAL B752s 235, or the other way around!

Jeesh, that’s more passengers than some airlines fit in a 777!
Serioudly though, the figures quoted must be incorrect. For a 752, the max 2 class is 200; even if the “business seats” were the same as economy (a la BA) it would only be legally certified to a maximum of 228 seats. So the 2 class capacity of 253 would appear to be incorrect.
The -300 can have a legal max of 280 in a 1 class layout according to the Boeing website.

Accordng to the Boeing website, this is even beyond what the 753 can accomodate
Nah, we get 280 on the 753! Like every charter aircraft everyone gets off with a crippled back!

aye, but we all know the 752 has excellent long haul capabilities, across the pond, for example…
Anyway, I’d rather travel longhaul on a 752 than on one of the old Crossair MD-83 charter flights from Switzerland to Madras… (with en route refuelling stop, obviously). Those things are cramped enough on the hour and a half flight to Heathrow, after all…

It’s a long way in a 752 isn’t it ?
