dark light

A lost post.

Before the hackers I posted a thread to Kev35, showing my attempt at capturing aircraft overflying my house on there way to LHR. It seems to have been lost.

This feels like a shameless plug, but if you didn’t get to see the pic, here it is again. Its not great, but I didn’t think it was bad for a first time attempt.

Also, I brought some new camera film today, im now trying that new Kodak High Deffinition film… 200iso, hope this will work ok?

Enjoy:

ElAl — I think its either a 767-300 or a 777-200

The Britannia aircraft is a 757 and was at about 3,000 feet. The camera is a simple Fuji Finepix and I used the full 6x optical zoom.

must be a zoom… with the gear up, it must still be miles away from touchdown.

Good shot… You must be closer to an airport than I am, either that or you have a better zoom?

I think its a 763 as El Al dont use A300’s? And it doesn’t look like a 757, forward fuselage section isn’t long enough.

it’s definately a widebody, but it could equally be an A300, although I suppose the 763 is a more frequent visitor to LHR.

I too recently took a pic of a low flying a/c coming in to land over my house, I’ll post it later, as this machine dosen’t support my camera adapter.

I would say it is a 763 it’s a wide body.

Nice pic,

I can tell it is not a 777, its tail ends with a “screw driver”, and this one ends in a cone. This would make it either a 757 or a 767. My guess would be a 757.
