EAL New livery.

To me it gets the thumbs down… why take away the black/blue/red/green and so on… they were the best EAL livery.

Be a shame to see it go, and they have only had it for such a short while… but I suppose this new livery is more suited to an airline called European.

Here you go guys…

I like the new livery, much beter than the awful pink/black etc.

I have a friend who works for them on their 747’s as cabin crew. She says they are not a good company to work for, crew normally only stay there until they can get another job. She’s there until the end of the season then she’s off Thomas Cook.

It’s very plain, the old livery was better.

Hah, Air Scandic’s main administration is in St.Helier according to their website. You learn something new every day.

Well I seem to be on my own here but I think it is a big improvement and makes their aircraft look about 20 years younger!

I like The TCX livery on any aircraft but of course especially the A330. I also think the new Monarch livery is very smart.
If you think Air Scandic planes look bad you havent visited their website… Looks like a 2 year olds handywork just like the planes.

Yeuch!

Were EAL inspired by Lufthansa’s and Air France’s nice modern schemes?

No, the best charter livery is Air Transat/ Star Airways…I can’t believe it is always overlooked!
On the EAL subject, don’t you think the title looks very Virginish?

As soon as I looked at the thread’s title “EAL New Livery” I set my expectations lower so as not to be to disgusted, and of course I was right.:o 😮

I like the Condor scheme the best, the one with the Grey belly and engine cowlings. The yellow belly and engine cowlings weren’t bad either. Too bad these will be gone soon. 🙁

Oh god…. Air Scandic, how could I forget the best looking Charter airline in UK history!!!!????!!! :p:D:D:D:D:D:p

TCX livery only looks really good on the 330 of course though! On the 753 it doesn’t suit, i think thats just because the actuall aircraft its self looks out of proportion… too long… pencil!

Very nice.

Come on Andrew, you know you love Air Scandic!! 😀 But yes, Thomas Cook is quite nice. The classic Britannia (Blue and White) scheme is equally as attractive — especially on the 767!

I like the black with the different colours. Black is my favourite colour to begin with, and mixed in with green, then blue, then red, very nice.

Fashion in aviation – who would have thought it?! 😉

However, I’m sounding negative, but I really like it, far superior to the previous, 80s like design.

Michael, I think they cut off the circle of Stars the same way the new JAL colour scheme has the partial red circle on their tail. Supposed to look fashionable, I would think.
