ONE MAN AND HIS BIRD DOG

O-1E I-BDOG is owned and flown by Andrea Rossetto, who has a long association with military aviation. Having graduated, he enlisted in the Italian Army with the ‘Folgore’ (Lightning) paratroop brigade and later served as an officer in the Italian Air Force. In 1999 he joined the civilian Padova area air traffic control centre, where he still works as a radar air traffic controller and on-thejob training instructor. Since he was a child, Andrea has had a passion for history.
