First ScanEagle delivered to US Coast Guard
A US Coast Guard ScanEagle. The first system was handed over to the service on March 20. Insitu BOEING SUBSIDIARY Insitu announced on March 20 that it had delivered the first ScanEagle system to the US Coast Guard for its National Security Cutter (NSC) fleet. The unmanned aircraft system (UAS) was formally accepted by the Commandant of the USCG, Admiral Karl Schultz, who said that the ScanEagle capability will be fielded across the entire fleet of 11 USCG Legendclass NSCs
