Biometrics Face Major Test
DUBLIN AND Bristol Airports have begun trials of new biometric technology designed to create a more seamless experience for passengers travelling between the two cities. It thought to be the first biometric system to enable passengers to use the same process at their departure and arrival airports. Developed by Collins Aerospace, the SelfPass system securely stores biometric data from passengers’ passports to help speed up their journey. The information is used at self-service check-in and is linked to boarding cards
