General Atomics Flies Extended Range Avenger
GENERAL ATOMICS Aeronautical Systems Inc (GAASI) has successfully flown its new Avenger Extended Range (ER) unmanned aircraft. This is a longer range version of its multi-mission jet-powered Predator C/Avenger, which has accumulated over 13,000 flight hours to date. The Avenger ER maiden flight took place on October 27 at the company’s Gray Butte Flight Operations Facility in Palmdale, California.
