Fifty years of Polish armed forces Mi-2s
LOTNICTWO WOJSK Lądowych (Polish Army Aviation) Mi-2URP 6922 of 56. Baza Lotnicza (BLot, Air Base) ‘Kujawski’ from Inowrocław-Latkowo has been painted in a special scheme to commemorate 50 years of the Mi-2 in Polish military service. Around 300 Mi-2s served with the Polish armed forces and around 40 remain active. Army Aviation Mi-2 bases are at Inowrocław-Latkowo (56. BLot) and Pruszcz- Gdanski (49. BLot). More Mi-2s are based at Dęblin, in service with the Sily Powietrzne’s (Polish Air Force’s) 41.
