TUI Airways Boeing 737 runway excursion report
The UK Air Accidents Investigation Branch (AAIB) has concluded its investigation into a runway excursion involving a TUI Airways Boeing 737 that was landing at Leeds/Bradford Airport. The incident, which took place on October 20, 2023, during Storm Babet, saw 737-8K5, G-TAWD (c/n 37265) yaw left of the centreline during the rollout and leave the runway at about 55kts, eventually coming to a stop in muddy ground.
