Stansted reveals £1.1bn expansion and revamp

London Stansted Airport has announced a £1.1bn investment programme that will take place over the next five years. The centrepiece of the revamp is a £600m expansion of the airport’s existing terminal building to create “a bright, spacious environment, with more seating areas plus new shops, bars and restaurants”.
