Boeing forecasts significant growth
Boeing predicts the commercial aircraft fleets in China and Africa will more than double in size over the next two decades. Its 2024 Commercial Market Outlook said China’s commercial fleet is expected to grow 4.1% annually, from 4,345 to 9,740 aircraft by 2043, while its annual passenger traffic growth of 5.9% will exceed the global average of 4.7%.
