Burning Blue Design has announced Sibson Aerodrome (EGSP) for Microsoft Flight Simulator is out now.

Sibson Aerodrome is located in Cambridgeshire just outside Peterborough. Initially built during the 1930s, it served as a training base for the RAF during World War Two. Today, it is home to the UK Parachuting Skydiving Centre and the Peterborough Flying School.

The package for Microsoft Flight Simulator is an accurate recreation of the actual airfield, sporting high-resolution colour-corrected ground textures and an up-to-date airport layout with detailed runways, taxiways with custom airport lighting and taxi signs.

Other highlights include more than 100 custom 3D objects with Physical Based Rendering (PBR) textures, detailed hangar interiors with animated doors and interior modelling for the on-site cafe interior. The package also features night lighting and dynamic weather compatibility.
